No it a reward! Bribery would be throwing the match in one's favour... He is asking him to win not lose... Can or not its still not guaranteed, but throwing...

Joe Cole has promised to buy clubmate Tal Ben Haim the holiday of a lifetime if he can help Israel beat Russia and give England a chance of reaching Euro 2008.

Chelsea defender Ben Haim holds England's dreams in his hands in Tel Aviv on November 17 when Russia go for the win which would all but put England out.

Cole said: "If Tal and Israel get a result against Russia I'm offering him and his family a holiday anywhere in the world they like! We're desperate for a favour."

Ah... how nice of him to a fellow club mate... Mr. Green

Hope Russia win and kick England out of the European Tourament. Twisted Evil

Don't be so bad... It would be boring without England at the Euro 2008. Neutral

Spartans SG

England is way over-rated. Look at Arsenal. They dun have much English players. (pls dun use the excuse that Wenger hates English players) This show the strength of the current English squad.

There is only a rare few world class English players. Let me think of an example...

***thinking very hard***

sorry I cannot think of one. Twisted Evil

I think its more because they have an incapable coach rather than bad players... There are many... Lampard, wanted by a lot of top European clubs, Beckham, had he wanted could have stayed at Real another 2 yrs or gone to AC Milan... Gerrard, also as wanted maybe more than Lampard somemore...

He probably won't be scoring, yeah, but he definitely can help to DEFEND his goalpost from the Russian attackers. Rolling Eyes
