Mellberg plays down Juve reports
Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg has poured cold water on reports
suggesting he has agreed a switch to Serie A giants Juventus.
He said: "I was linked with Juventus but I am focusing on doing
well for Villa."
Villa boss Martin O'Neill revealed last week the club were in talks
with Mellberg over a new deal.
"We are in the throes of things, but there's nothing definite just
yet. We're in discussions," he told the Birmingham Mail.
