Fergie sold Jaap Stam..he was such a good defender..

- Spending $50 million pounds and struggling in Champion League matches.

Only torres justified his price with his saviour goal for Liverpool.

As for Babel and Kuyt, I have yet to see any impressive form from them despite the press writing so much about their potential and their skills.

At this moment, I placed the responsibility on the manager for not bringing out the best from the players.

- Releasing Garcia

Although he dun perform well as a 90 min player, he is the jack in the box that can create goal out of the slight chance with his reaction.

Liverpool is missing some one in the box to score and outside their own box to defend.

Wenger is a shrewd man.. Viera? how much was he worth to Arsenal?

Wenger saw in Fabregas someone better than Viera.. and look how Fabregas outplayed Viera in THAT UCL game..

Viera was also let go because of a physical condition.. one of his legs is shorter than the other.. i would think that this would be his last season.. the doctors did say that it would start to tell once he reaches 30.. and he's 31 this year...

so Wenger let Viera go.. i think it was also a mutual decision...

as for Henry, Wenger had to let him go.. look at the current squad.. i would bet that ALL of them would be overawed by Henry and not be anywhere near their potential.. look at them now... they would be hamstrung by this great Arsenal hero.. they would be tentative and not dare to be all that they can be, probably hesitant to make that mistake in front of greatness..

i've seen Arsenal play this season.. they are amazing at times..

with both Viera and Henry around, i doubt this team would be anywhere near as good... sometimes, great parts diminish the whole.. Wenger was wise enough to see it..

omgukilledkenny SG
