Jose Mourinho has been offered an incredible £10million-a-year deal
to take charge of the United Arab Emirates' World Cup
campaign.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, one of the world's richest
men, has made contact with Mourinho's agent, Jorge Mendes, reports
The Daily Mirror.
Mourinho was on £5.5m a year at Chelsea - he does want to return to
club management but the size of the UAE deal could persuade him
otherwise.
The Sheikh has already failed in a bid to buy Liverpool but as he
owns Dubai International Capital he certainly has the finances to
bankroll Mourinho.
UAEs French boss Bruno Metsu's contract finishes next year and
former Porto and UAE player Rabad Madjer said: "Mourinho is a huge
name and his arrival would be massive for the country."
