Arsenal are keen on signing Manchester City star Michael Johnson
according to reports over the weekend.
19 year old Johnson has impressed this season under Sven Goran
Eriksson and is attracting the attentions of a number of the
Premiership's top clubs.
The Sunday People claims that Arsenal are set to keep tabs on
Johnson with a view to launching a £5 million bid in January but
they could also face competition from Liverpool who are reportedly
also interested.
Liverpool made a £2 million for Johnson without success last
summer.
