Pierluigi Collina, the most famous former referee in the world,
wants to get something off his chest. Since the Italian blew the
final whistle on his career two years ago, rumours have circulated
in his homeland that he is a Lazio supporter, reports the
Times.
"If you ask anyone who they supported when they were young - if
they are honest, they will say a particular team. When I'm asked
who I used to support, what am I supposed to say?
"I only said that I supported Lazio as a boy. Remember, when I was
a boy. But journalists forget this and say I am a Lazio
supporter."
