Robbie Savage has branded Arsene Wenger and his Arsenal players
"hypocrites" for complaining about Blackburn's physical style of
play.
Savage also demanded Blackburn be given more respect by the rest of
the Premier League after stretching their unbeaten run to 14 games
with a 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
Wenger labelled Rovers "violent" following their 1-1 draw at Ewood
Park.
"It really gets on our nerves," said Savage.
"It's a man's game, it's physical. You're going to get stuck in and
make tackles. And Arsenal give as good as they get, so it's very
hypocritical of them.
"Robin van Persie's tackle on Ryan Nelsen was the worst in the
entire game. "
