Wah... and there are many more between the $80 - $100k bracket too... Like from:

Man u - Ferdinand, Rooney, Tevez

Chelsea - A Cole, Essien, Lampard, Robben, Drogba and maybe even Wright-Phillips.

Liverpool - Carragher, Torres and maybe even Mascherano

Arsenal - Gallas and Fabregas only i think.

Newcastle - Owen i think on 100 or 110k per week

dragg SG

fabregas i last read was only 30k.

try consolidating the exact figures just for the fun of it.

Soccer players do not deserved such high salaries. Their main job is just to kick a ball.

Yah I know the clubs need them to win matches and money. But serious comparing us slugging our lives away earning wages that seem like peanut compared to theirs.

S$3000 for a soccer star is depressing enough to spent S$2000 on mental therapy

its because we give in to their demands.
if we all stop watching, they don't get any revenues from telecasting rights. that will certainly affect their astronomical wages.

but then again, its highly unlikely situation.
