Olof Mellberg has stunned Aston Villa by admitting for the first
time he may turn down a new contract and quit the club on a free
next summer. The Swedish international centre-back wants to play in
the Champions League and is keeping his options open.
Mellberg said: "I hope to have a good season - then we will
see."
