Whether you're into network marketing or conventional marketing,
the fact remains the internet SHOULD play an important part of your
campaigns.
Obviously all of the hotel meetings, 3-way calls, and all the
other MLM type stuff works. But it can rapidly burn up your time
with tire kickers.
An automated system online will free up your time, plus you can
offer training sessions to your team that you record once and ask
them to watch.
This means you can enjoy your vacation on Bora Bora while
someone in Chicago learns all about your techniques.
But when it comes down to marketing, there are a few
fundamentals worth bearing in mind. Frank Kern outlined these in
his book "Convert", which is well worth getting hold of.
Far too many people thrust their opportunity down people's
throat, and the internet has made that even easier. Truth is,
90-odd percent of these marketers won't be in business in a year's
time.
So it helps to position yourself and gain credibility. This
takes time, and all too frequently people just can't be
bothered.
You also need to identify someone's problem and offer a
solution. Oddly it's not always about the money, but there could be
other factors there that need exploring.
Share stories - your story - and seek ways to help people. After
all, Zig Ziglar said something along the lines of: If you find a
way to help more people, you will be richly rewarded.
So what techniques can you use?
Facebook is an immense resource, and chatting to people will
help build your influence.
YouTube, Vimeo, and DailyMotion are other great resources that
you can use. Cut a video a day saying who you are and what you
believe in. You don't even have to mention your business, because
you're becoming influential so people will follow you.
Write blogs. These are important because they'll be working
24/7. With hyperlinks leading back to your landing pages, you can
pick up prospects even when you're sleeping.
Traffic exchanges. These are a good way to get eyeballs on your
site, and there are loads out there such as Clixsense, Neobux and
so on.
Personally I use MyAdvertisingPays.com because it does as it
says, keeping my online advertising costs down. If you take a look,
I'd be grateful if you used my affiliate link: http://vzturl.com/tj48
You can always look for places to place banner ads for your
business. These usually cost money, and so it's worth shopping
around to find a good deal. People who write e-zines (electronic
magazines) for your target client base would be a good place to
start looking.
Just Google your niche and "ezines" - I typed in: make money
"ezines" - and this got 471,000 returns.
Finally, you can always buy leads. The Warrior forum has plenty
of people selling solo ads or offering lead exchanges.
Don't go overboard at first. Buy a few, see how it works, then
tweak your message if you need to. When you hit a sweet spot, scale
up!
Anyway, I hope this has given you a few ideas about where to get
started.
To your success,
~Steve :)
