stellazio SG was this the infamous battle of the buffet? eh wait. sounds more like the one that man utd broke arsenal's unbeaten record. damn, nowadays no more of such epic battles.
ghimpheng SG Zocoss what u posted is more like man utd / arsenal captain trying to influence the ref and especially SAF nothing related to terry abusing the refs more like an example of man utd abusing the ref
zocoss SG Oh man why do you always misunderstand people? I just wonder how do you get on in your everyday life misinterpreting others all the time... What i posted isn't about Terry, they are excerpts from referee Graham Poll's autobiography, Seeing Red, currently being serialised by the Press... Graham Poll is the main topic here and not Terry. Got it!
sand king SG Patrick said: 'I'll break your legs as well.' Roy replied: 'If you were that good, you'd be playing for Real Madrid.'LOL to Keane
the Bear SG again, Poll being crap doesn't mean that Terry stops being a thug... that being said, Gerrard figures he must be one too
stellazio SG aiyah englishman is born rough and bullish. heck don't say terry and gerrard. keane and vieira are also known to abuse refs and intimidate them back then. i see so many f words shouted at refs in the epl this days.
zocoss SG Thats only your opinion, anybody is allow to share that opinion with you too but it still doesn't change the fact that he was the top referee in the EPL for the last few years... And also England's representive at the Euro and World Cup and not to forget the Champions League too during these time... Making one mistake does not change the fact that Fifa rated he highly too. The fact that he was frequently given highprofile matches shows that obviously there are many who rated him highly as well.
zocoss SG I think you missed his point... It has nothing to do with the F word... I don't think Poll was just referring to abusive behaviour from Terry... Its more like he is referring to the flaw character of Terry. That he lied and made up stories after being red carded. "Poll said: 'Terry had his version of events proven false and then was not big enough to apologise or even acknowledge publicly what he had done. 'You will make your own judgment about whether that behaviour befits an England captain. I know what I think. 'It wasn't conduct becoming of an England captain. JT, have a look at yourself.' " FA fine Terry £10,000 last season for accusing Poll in an 'utterly unfounded allegation that he had produced a deliberately falsified account of his red card (at Tottenham)'. This is the Point Poll is making...
ghimpheng SG When Is Terry Proven Wrong ? Only Poll say that he make up the stories other than that nothing have proven it it was poll who disallow drogba clean header goal and follow by this crappy sending off and not sending off a tottenham player for a 2nd yellow card can't remember who if i had not remember it is Ghaly maybe not the disallow of Drogba clean goal and claim that he saw a foul dun know how many yards out far far away in the galaxy clearly show that Poll is...........
zocoss SG Perhaps this line? Can't you read, its so clear as crystal... FA fine Terry £10,000 last season for accusing Poll in an 'utterly unfounded allegation that he had produced a deliberately falsified account of his red card (at Tottenham)'.
zocoss SG Yes i know but indirectly it also implied what Terry did was ok... as England's captain he had more reason to behave himself.
ghimpheng SG hi Chelsea And Terry decided not to appeal as it was a small fine and why should they take the risk to appeal and offend a Ref that will in future chelsea matches in the next few seasons sa they dun know Poll is going to retire and so called TOP REF OF ENGLAND might be quite influential to other REFs as well so what the use of offending him ? it is a small fine and 1 match ban that why chelsea and terry never appeal that what John Terry itself mention
