Confettis were blown, balloons were released onto the field, and
they had a red carpet from the substitute bench where Beckham
walked to the center circle. He took peektures with the ref, then
every other player on the pitch with hundreds of reporters around
them with their cameras. All these lasted for another 20 minutes
before the match continued.
