Jose Mourinho has said Florent Malouda will probably be
his last signing of the summer.
Chelsea's Premier League challenge last season was hindered by a
series of injuries to key players and Mourinho was expected to
bring in a number of new faces to safeguard against something
similar happening again.
He has added Steve Sidwell, Tal Ben Haim, Claudio Pizarro and
Malouda to his ranks, as well as recalling Glen Johnson from his
loan spell at Portsmouth.
Although he has not ruled out doing more business, Mourinho thinks
his squad is already in good shape for the start of the
season.
"The market is open and when the market is open you never know," he
told Sky Sports News.
"But I don't think so. The squad is very good and we have at this
moment alternatives.
"We have the protection we didn't have last season for some
positions when we were in some trouble with injuries.
"I think it is more than enough the squad we have."
