Rangers have signed Northern Ireland international Roy
Carroll.
The Ulsterman has penned a one-year deal following his release by
West Ham.
Gers boss Walter Smith knows Carroll from their time together at
Manchester United and he wasted little time in sealing a deal for
the 29-year-old.
Carroll will compete with Allan McGregor and Graeme Smith for the
number one jersey at Ibrox.
