Vieri In Shock Spurs Link
The 33-year-old is available on a free transfer after a season with
Atalanta, but while numerous clubs in Serie A have been linked with
his signature it could be a Premiership outfit that lands the
veteran.
Martin Jol is actively targeting Darren Bent, but with Charlton
playing hard-ball over his transfer fee it is possible that the
Dutchman is examining alternative options as he looks to replace
the soon to be departing Mido.
Vieri, who made his name with Inter Milan where he enjoyed the most
of his success in a much travelled career, has already been linked
with Genoa, Napoli and Palermo this summer.
Tottenham are aiming to push their way into the top four having
finished fifth in the past two seasons and may see the former
Italian international as the man to make the difference.
