Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood is planning to meet
would-be new owner Stan Kroenke in a bid to find out more about his
plans for the Gunners.
Hill-Wood is looking to meet up with the American tycoon after the
Colorado Rapids owner upped his stake in Arsenal to 12.19 per
cent.
It is thought the Arsenal chief and managing director Keith Edelman
will look to see Kroenke next week, possibly in Iceland, although
the Gunners' board have previously indicated they have no intention
of selling to the American.
Hill-Wood told the Daily Star: "We are hoping to meet with Kroenke
and we have decided to meet on neutral ground.
"We already have a marketing arrangement with his club Colorado
Rapids and he apparently has bought 50 per cent of Arsenal
Broadband."
The Arsenal chairman insists he knows nothing of a rumoured
takeover bid by Dubai-based Mohammed Al Hashimi.
