CHELSEAS secret new away kit has been leaked, a week ahead of its
official launch. The fluorescent electric yellow shirt was due to
be unveiled at a high-profile event at Stamford Bridge a week
tomorrow.
The club have been revealing tantalising glimpses of the dazzling
new adidas strip for the past week in the build-up to next
Thursdays launch. Yet in spite of strict security since John
Terry, Michael Ballack, Didier Drogba, Joe Cole, Petr Cech, Arjen
Robben and Ashley Cole posed for photographs at the clubs Cobham
training ground in April, pictures have already appeared on a fans
website.
The luminous electric yellow shirt was chosen by Chelsea owner
Roman Abramovich, who likes Barcelonas bright orange away jerseys.
Supporters will not be able to buy the new kit until June 28. And
Blues players will wear the glowing jersey for the first time fora
friendly against Suwon Blue-wings in Los Angeles on July 17.
The new away shirt will cost at least £30 with the entire strip
setting supporters back a minimum £58.
