United face probe over goalie

Sometimes, just because the person isn’t the same type of soccer fan you are doesn’t mean he isn’t a fan.

There could yet be a shock twist to the English Premier League title race.

Manchester United face a probe, which could lead to a points deduction, into Tim Howard's 3 million pounds(s $9million) transfer to Everton.

The goalkeeper joined Everton on a year-long loan deal last summer, and it was made permanent in February.

Under the loan deal, he could not play for Everton against United. But that restriction no longer applied when the deal was made permanent.

Still, United asked for Howard not to play against them on April 28 as one of the conditions of making the transfer permanent.

So Everton played Iain Turner. They were up 2-0 when the second-choice goalkeeper made a bad mistake to allow John O'Shea to score.

The Red Devils eventually won 4-2 at Goodison Park.

Both clubs have declined to comment.

The League's spokesman Dan Johnson told the News of the World : " As Howard is a permanent transfer, there is no reason why he could not have played against Manchester United.''

"Had such a clause been included in the transfer, we would not have allowed it. It would have been a clear case of third-party interference.''

The issue of third-party agreements in player transfers has been under the spotlight. West Ham were fined a record 5.5million pounds on April 27 for breaking the rules over the transfers of Argentinians Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano.

Last season, Brimingham were refused permission to insert a clause into transfer deal forbidding Robbie Savage playing against them for his new club, Blackburn

don't you think there is too much thread about man utd and beside, man utd already won the title, and now here again, another thread about man utd

-_-

what is the mod doing?

used SG

the big clubs will always be in the news and this time its manu. next time it will be chelsea, arsenal or pool. its inevitable. it also coincides with the fact that manu had just won the title and this issue may be related to it. i dont see why you tend to kick up a big fuss every time when the topics revolves around manu

SumOne SG

This incident concluded already, no action taken. Please refer to today’s New Paper.

allentyb SG

Rolling Eyes

the epl doesn't evolve around man utd

and there are simply alot of thread about man utd winning the title, ever since yesterday, today there is a duplicate of thread about man utd,

and furthermore, there are more article in the new paper, but i don't see any more posting at all

and most of the thread is about man utd, if this continue till tomorrow, then change this forum name to man utd forum and all football & epl

since mod is also man utd fan

turbo_drift SG

Not all the mod are Man Utd fans.. Rolling Eyes

allentyb SG

well, its ok to celebrate about your winning of epl, and of course we are happy for man utd, as they deserve it, but enough of thread about man utd winning the title already or news that are already considered as old, i remember once, i post something that, man utd fans are the cause of the riot, then it got deleted, ok that one, nevermind, i blame myself for posting a forum which has a mod who is a man utd fan, this one also nevermind

the news about man utd won the epl title, is already known from yesterday, do you have to post and post about it, all over forum, and basically, is today headline just about man utd meh? yea........ but there are more news about other club also, reading so much about man utd, is rather tiring, there are more things to post,

when liverpool got to the final of ucl, you don't see alot of them, posting so much about liverpool, right?

now today already got more than 5 thread related to the title celebration

-_-

allentyb SG

its rather ironic when there is a man utd forum, and people still post news that had been posted at the man utd forum already

this thread is a old thread

posted by omgukilledkenny

this is a case of double standard

tell me, is it ok, that you allow man utd post that has been posted before in this forum, then the rest is not ok?

i am finger pointing without any proof, just that i had enough all this man utd fans against one gp

allentyb SG

how about this thread

http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=252975

this thread is also similar to this as well

http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=252566

tell me what should i think?

do i have to point out more thread to back up my words?

allentyb SG

tell me what should i think?

i don't open my mouth without finding thread to back up my words

already got thread that is double posted, like i said before,

might as well, make this a man utd related & All football & EPL forum

don't you tell me, i saw thing blindly

AngGuKuay SG

It just show how many man u fans are there in this forum. It may also shows that liverpool fans here are not active.

allentyb SG

it is understandable, but does mod allow them to double post to flood this forum as well?

this is a case of double standard, and since mod is a man utd, so how do you want me to think?

i already shown proof to back me up, and those thread are not outdated at all, so do tell me what should i say, i already hint so clearly, but mod just doesn't get it at all, i also point out how mod deleted my thread, which happens to be in this forum, i still remember the title, man u fans tio pwned, like that kenna deleted, when the report is telling the truth about man utd fans are the cause of the riot, now you tell me, since he allow double posting and selective post that is in favour of man utd to exist in the forum, shouldn't this is a case of power abuse,

i am not ranting for nothing, neither this is a flame post nor a bash post, but merely an enquires on how does the mod practise in this forum

allentyb SG

i will not open up a new thread to ask about their double standard practise, now anyone able to tell me why is it they allow man utd post to exist in two forum which is so similar, and they could continue in the existing thread,

tell me what should i think?

since. used is saying that i am kicking a fuss, now i show proof lor, to back up what i said, and since my hint is not clear at all, and tell me what more can i said?

furthermore, i hardly post in this forum at all, i merely mind my own business, but enough is enough

tell me lor, since the 3 link is not enough, does the mod wants me to dig out more thread that is similar to those thread in the man utd forum to back my words, and then this will turn out to be a post that is targeting at man utd forum, now i merely link what is in the man utd forum and what already exist in this forum to do a comparison, so

what extent, does the mod, want me to link, 10 more link to back up my words?

and if you still think i am kicking a fuss, but you are so dead wrong, i don't rant at anything that moved

allentyb SG

even though i don't like man utd, i never ever post a thread about how much i hate man utd or spam the whole forum about negative news about man utd

this is my first time, ranting about selective posting and double standard

and furthermore, there are already link to proof that i am right, if i am wrong, i will STFU, but i am not a person who make a post without finding out my proof at all, and if i link it, and yet nothing will be done, then in this case, this shall be my last post, since nobody has been giving me any form of reply at all, and they don't owe me a reply at all,

all this is for viewing purposes, and if mod continue this sort of behaviour, which is allowing double posting, and which there is proof, and since they think i am kicking a fuss out of nothing,

you have yet to see what sort of news, i will post about man utd, all sort of negative news about man utd, and then i may very well be another gp, which i don't want to become.

turbo_drift SG

Ok.. Since i'm around, what to do u want to do at the first place??

Allentyb, if u wanna become the next gp, forget it dude.. Wink

I'm sure there will be wars between United fans and Pool fans (if i'm right, allentyb is a Liverpool fan) in sgforums IF u intend to be the next gp..

P.S: I mention IF, alright.. Just in case, some of u guys mistaken my words..

please lah, be becoming another gp, is totally unnecessary at all, furthermore, that used, said that i am kicking a fuss lor, so i get annoyed, so i go and post link to proof my words, and make him eat his words lor, am i really kicking a fuss, or showing proof, if he knows what he is doing, will i kick such a big fuss, and i already state very clearly, that i am making a comparison and if i really want to be gp, i will have done it long ago,

please lah, they allow such practise and mod is also a man utd fan, tell me what should i think?
