Davis attracting interest
Portsmouth are thought to be willing to listen for offers for Davis
and could consider selling him for the right price.
The news has alerted a clutch of Premiership rivals who are ready
to try and lure Davis away from Fratton Park.
Middlesbrough are believed to have expressed an interest in signing
the former Fulham and Tottenham man.
New Bolton boss Sammy Lee is also believed to be in the running for
Davis' signature having worked with the player with England's Under
21s.
Premiership-bound duo Birmingham and Sunderland are thought to be
keeping tabs on Davis as they look to bring in experienced
Premiership performers for the challenge of consolidating in the
top flight next term.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp could be ready to sanction Davis' sale
in a bid to boost the kitty for his own transfer plans.
