Portsmouth have expressed an interest in Trinidad & Tobago
Under 21 international Lester Peltier, according to his San Juan
Jabloteh coach Terry Fenwick.
Peltier has spent time on trial at Arsenal, Cardiff and Millwall
already this month.
He is keen to secure a move to England and Fenwick believes Pompey
could now be ready to begin talks.
"Portsmouth have shown they are interested and we are awaiting the
outcome," said Fenwick in The Sun.
Fenwick managed Portsmouth from 1995 to 1998 and has accompanied
Peltier to England in his bid to earn a contract.
