Duo in running for Racing pair
Arsenal and Bolton have reportedly joined Manchester United in the
pursuit of Racing Santander's highly-rated defensive duo Ruben
Gonzalez and Ezequiel Garay.
Representatives from the Premiership clubs were in attendance for
Racing's 1-0 win over Osasuna on Sunday.
Although Racing confirmed the presence of the two clubs at the
match, they claimed they had held no talks over specific
targets.
"All we know is that passes were issued for the match but there has
been no contact regarding individuals," said a Racing
spokesman.
Racing's surprise success in La Liga has seen a number of players
perform impressively and giant striker Nikola Zigic has also been
linked with a move away.
The Serbian is reportedly being trailed by Tottenham and
Juventus.
