Singapore vs Thailand - AFC Wed Jan 31

Short Ninja SG

The Thais are ready to rock and roll this wednesday night. The whole squad is upbeat about beating Singapore in Kallang and then go back and have a field day when they meet Singapore in Bangkok.SIngapore need to win this one they better come up with a secret weapon of some sort,I wonder if Itimi will play .Looking at the who is who in the National Team it seems like the lions could only score with just a handful of players. If the lions should lose this game they might not stand a chance in the away game so its a do or die mission.Well Fans,to roar or not to roar that is the question….I know the price of tickets are up KNNCCB but your team needs you more than ever so what say you? One last roar?

zocoss SG

You all saw today's newspaper, 28,000 tickets sold liao... So for those who wants to go better get your tickets today or it would probably be sold out by tomorrow...

Also the match will be shown Live on Ch 5 too. Smile

Short Ninja SG

Looks like 55,000 crazy people are going to take mc on Thursday morning(Thai workers included)

dragg SG

thailand will most probably win.

Short Ninja SG

If SIngapore play a defensive kiasu game they might just frustrate the Thais to a goal less draw but a draw is also bad news for the lions .It takes just one moment of magic to score a goal and hopefully they dont blow their chances away .Everything points to a Thai victory tomorrow night if you weigh the two teams pound for pound but you cannot weigh luck and decisions make by kayu referee…Hey when was the last time you kena 4-D ??? Never in your life rite so the odds here are better.

zocoss SG

Thai captain and their star player Kiatisuk Senamuang won't be playing in this match... He didn't even made the trip here... And they say he may not play in the 2nd leg as well if he don't recover in time.

Coquitlam SG

The Thais will surely win…..time for Thailand to kick some Shincorp butt…..the owners of Shincorp….ie…we all know who the owners are…..

OO_OO_OO SG

those mother fockers only care about money.
when we give support, they see it as a business opportunity.

fuck them all, i'm not going down to watch the match this round.
they need a wake up call once and for all.

zocoss SG

This shows that the S League has fail to excite the fans enough for them to stay away over the years... I belief that had Sg was still in the Malaysian Cup, we might have got a weekly 40 to 50 thousand fans at Kallang.

S League seems like a waste ot time. Neutral

Short Ninja SG

The Malaysia Cup was really something.Imagine all the states wanting to kick one badass It was like all the arab states trying to kick Israel out of this planet.Money wise it was ok,generating nationalism was ok,learning to worship local stars because it always easy to win in kampung games….ok oso lah but if had remained in malaysia cup then Singapore soccer also would become Boleh and as you know in Malysia everything also boleh lah.For me boleh is equivalent to coorrk -up.As for S-league…....until now I still dont know WTF its all about and what direction it has taken the Lions to but I think eversince they started this S-league thing every Singaporean including the tolilet cleaning lady has switched to EPL instead .BTW are you the same Zocoss from Asianhandicapp?? The betting website.

Short Ninja SG

Thailand so confident ah until captain K dont want to come down for first leg?But I am sure he wouldnt miss it for the world in the 2nd leg.Someone here said something like boycott FAS or rather Furk them Marder Furkers because raising the price is so un cool..Hey you know what…..its exactly like complaining about the Garmen with the mouth and voting for them with the right/left hand.

zocoss SG

Well, one thing is sg football has not improve at all, at least back then i am told we had good players like Fandi & Sundram... Today we have no one who can make it in a lesser european league.

And just the mention of goal 2010 makes me wonder what happened along the way? Goal 2010 was first mentioned i think in the early 90s is it, i am not too sure about when actually but seems very long ago liao... 2010 is suppose to be the year we are going for a WC spot?

Had we still been in the malaysian cup, younger fans would still be able to experience the Kallang roar rather than keep a huge empty stadium unused for all these years for nothing...

And no i am not the Zocoss at Asianhandicapp... Laughing

CKeer SG

Laughing
Too bad i'm having exam on that day if not i'll be there again.
I'm sure this time round the Kallang Roar would be much louder and the Kallang Wave would be much bigger!

Ole, Ole, Ole Ole!

Cheers.

charlize SG

Sad to say but likely the Thais will kick Singapore's butt.

All the coach needs to do is to rile the players up with Shin Corp talk. Laughing

Short Ninja SG

Stadium empty?? Got National day parade wat!!!I heard about the 2010 thing just a few years but only started to pay a little bit of attention after watching them play Japan twice on TV on both occasions they did pretty well.Money can indeed buy improvement and I hope FAS or whatever sport ministry would pump in more $$$ to achieve a better goal after all they also know how to make money mah.To reach the roof top of Asian soccer the team must keep on climbing, what is the point of climbing 2 steps just to slide back 3.SIngapore is the defending champion in Asean and they should keep winnning until they reach the next level.I am sure there is a winning system (not talking about TOTO).When I first took a glimpse of the new Lions I thought it was a team from amnesty international…...hehehe.Taking in players from other countries is a great idea and probably the only way to keep this sport going.Singapore Players need exposure, like maybe joining in training stint with the J-league or Korean league because we know the Ang Mo Kau clubs in Europe dont want to waste time in baby sitting a lion cub.Tell you what if Singapore lose this one…..we post a subject like HOW TO TEACH A LION HOW TO PLAY SOCCER?

Short Ninja SG

One good idea is to put an oversize picture of Thaksin eating BKT behind the Singapore net. And you would be surprise if half the players refuse to shoot at it! because not everybody hate him in Thailand.

zocoss SG

Balance 5,000 tickets... heard from the news just now. That means more than 50,000 fans are expected at Kallang tomorrow... Shocked

CoolMyth SG

Will the Thai fans burn another Wong Kan Seng effigy in National Stadium? Laughing

Short Ninja SG

The other 5,000 maybe have to work making HDB flats.I think sure full house tomorrow one that goes to show people would do the darnest things to entertain oneself>Starting tomorrow everybody should try to predict the score for tomorrows game. Here is what I would wish SIngapore 2 verses Thailand 0
but my reality check says Thailand 1 up because their their freekicks are dangerous.Remember Singapore must not draw tomorrow so die die must score 1 precious goal.....if you get what I mean.

Short Ninja SG

burn his effigy and send him to Hell to become Kopi kia for the Devil coffee shop
