Tottenham boss Martin Jol has again denied talk that Jermain
Defoe could leave the club.
Defoe's future at White Hart Lane has been the subject of intense
speculation in the past few months as he fights to hold down a
regular place in Jol's side.
Fresh rumours have circulated over Defoe's future with the transfer
window set to reopen next month with Aston Villa believed to be
tracking the England international.
However, Jol insists he has no plans to sell Defoe and admitted he
is fed-up with all the speculation regarding the striker.
"Jermain is such an essential part of our set-up," Jol told the
Mail on Sunday.
"How many times do I have to tell you? There is no problem."
