RYAN GIGGS wants Alex Ferguson to break the bank to sign Owen
Hargreaves next month.
England midfielder Hargreaves, 25, is desperate to join Manchester
United from Bayern Munich.
And United wing wizard Giggs declared: He is a player who would
improve us.
"You want strength in depth and wed be really strong with
him.
German giants Bayern have consistently refused to discuss selling
the £18million-rated World Cup star to their Champions League
rivals.
But Giggs rates Hargreaves the perfect player to give them the edge
over Chelsea in the race for the title.
He added: Hargreaves is a quality player and showed that in the
summer.
United boss Ferguson has admitted Hargreaves remains his priority
buy for the transfer window even though the Canada-born star is
still recovering from the broken leg he suffered in
September.
Hargreaves is as determined as ever to move to Old Trafford.
He said: Anybody who sees United play at the moment knows they are
very special.
