JOSE MOURINHO is awaiting test results as doctors try to cure
his mystery headaches.
As SunSport revealed yesterday, the Chelsea boss (below) was taken
to hospital on Sunday complaining of severe head pains and
nausea.
Mourinho, 43, was fit to take charge of his side for last nights
2-0 Champions League win over Levski Sofia. But he admitted the
medicine he was on had made him feel a little off-colour.
He revealed: Im not used to the medication which has made me
feel a little worse for a while. I have been suffering for the
last two or three days and have not felt well.
Its strange, before I have a headache once a year like anyone
else. But this is very different and I have not felt great. I was
OK during the game because it was cold and my head was in the
ice.
Though he tried to laugh off the health scare, it is understood the
Blues boss is still waiting for results of blood tests taken last
Sunday as medics try to get to the bottom of the problem.
Mourinho left hospital without a proper diagnosis of the complaint
and may well have to return for further tests.
A close friend of Mourinho told SunSport: He will have some tests
as a precaution. Its much better to be safe with a complaint like
this.
