Marco_Simone SG This thread celebrates the Art of the Beautiful Game. It will showcase wonder goals scored by the greats(and not so great) in the history of football. To kick things off, Here is the totally unknown Betis right back Varela who dribbled past the entire Barca defence in the 02/03 season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvRJKG_alPQ This is the solo goal by Milan's George Weah in 1995 against Verona. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiyGRrbHsSE Seedorf of Real Madrid scores from 50m against unknown opponent(anyone know who this was?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fqvIKKDC9A Please help to contribute more vids of wonder goals.
anhydrouscoppersulphate SG http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBmzo26zdo0 Zinedine Zidane showing why he is one of the best players ever by scoring a superb volley in the 2002 Champions League Final against Bayern Leverkusen at Hampden Park.
anhydrouscoppersulphate SG http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9sInKQLIn8 Brazil vs France Roberto Carlos Freekick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZO7-HFBHZbc Roberto Carlos scores another screamer against Tenerife in 1998 from an almost impossible angle.
Marco_Simone SG You can also contribute a moment of magic from the players, not just goals. Here is the legendary Cruyff Turn by the great Johan Cruyff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1k7DGqRF5g Did you see how stupid the defender was made to look??? Another one would be Real Madrid's Redondo's backheel against Man U's Henning Berg in 99/00 CL. Redondo's backheel completely fooled Berg hence giving the former space to cross for Raul to score. But I can't find his vid on youtube.

Marco_Simone SG Anyone know the volley by Zidane from a 70m crossfield Beckham pass? It was during Beckham's first few months at Real(2003/04) and the opponent was Valladolid.
