zocoss SG If the story is true, then what is going to happen to $30.8m man Shev? Just 4 months into the premiership and he is seen as a "has been" ?
a-Lost-9uY SG omg they are really abusing their $ power.. not gd not gd.. uhmm wondering wad happen when tat Russian 1 day left CFC..
zocoss SG yeah lor... thats why Rummenigge is complaining... Once things not looking good for them, they go out and buy the problems away... Is Mourinho that "Special" if without the "Special $$$"? or will he be just another foreign manager but talk more only...
zocoss SG £10m a Goal! HE arrived as the most expensive signing in English football history but is fast becoming its biggest flop. Roman Abramovich could have bought 2,729,808 bottles of vodka with the £30.8million spent on Andriy Shevchenko. But it is doubtful whether even drinking that much could make him forget about Sheva. The former European Player of the Year was signed from AC Milan to provide goals but has managed just three in 14 games which works out at around £10m a pop. That is easily the worst money-per-goal return in the history of dud Premiership strikers. Just as wasteful has been the salary of £121,000 per week which the 30-year-old is paid for not performing for Chelsea. Even when he plays it is rarely a full shift as he is currently the second most subbed player in the Premiership. Sundays dreadful 75 minutes against Manchester United appears to be the final straw for Jose Mourinho and he wants to buy Valencia striker David Villa in January. As far as the coach is concerned, he has done everything he can to get the best from Sheva. Last week he dropped Sheva from the starting line-up for the match against Werder Bremen in a bid to provoke a reaction in him. It did but not the one Mourinho was looking for. Rather than fuel a desire to prove him wrong the striker instead complained to other players at being left out. Then, when he was brought on as a sub, he failed to make any impact and his display was later described in private as embarrassing by one of Mourinhos coaching staff. His inclusion at Old Trafford was viewed as an unofficial last chance. He did not take it. I guess AC Milan must be smiling all the way to the bank now and maybe they may still get him back for free next year... Poor shev, his reputation seems over since joining chelsea...
used SG as much as i despise chelsea, i'll have to disagree with you. jose is someone of the highest class despite his short managerial career. wad he learn being translator under bobby robson and van gaal is invaluble. his abilty to speak and understand different languages enables him to have good interaction with his player thus bringing the best out of them. and btw porto was not even close to being a rich club
trendz SG AC Milan must be smiling to the bank. havin' former real betis brazilian hitman ricardo oliviera on board to replace sheva, and partnering gilardino, super pippo (fillipo inzaghi) the supersub, things ain't lookin' so bad. sadly, chelsea is overly-dependent on drogba, but he did not shine at old trafford. well.. sheva was a total flop, his presence was more of a nuisance for chelsea. and now chelsea is buying the 2nd Spanish sensation behind torres; David Villa. Villa is a finisher. He's fast and skilful and is a supreme goal-poacher. His set-piece ability compliments his repertoire of skills. He'll prove a good buy if chelsea do get him.
a-Lost-9uY SG they like ruining potential future in some players.. such as SWP.. in e past he was playing 1st 11 football in ManC.. but then once he reached CFC his chances are limited.. omg..if he was still in ManC, i tink he will be contenting e same spot wif Lennon.. haiz..this goes on..it actually bring more harm to players who will by then shining for their country.. this is sad..
dragg SG i wont be surprised if he rejoins milan. btw i dont consider sheva a flop. i watched many of the games he played. chelsea do not have a good midfielder to complement sheva's style of play. ballack and lampard are frankly midfielders with no class.
anhydrouscoppersulphate SG shev is good but chelsea didn’t give him any service frankly… he’ll certainly miss his providers pirlo, kaka and seedorf…
used SG they depended too much on sheva and its turning out to be a mistake for both milan and chelsea
