Sheva Is Abramovich's Pet, Says Eto'o
Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o has launched an astonishing attack
on Andrei Shevchenko's move to Chelsea.
The Ukrainian striker has struggled since making a £30m move from
AC Milan to Chelsea in the summer and Eto'o believes this is due to
the Blues' defensive style of play.
He also feels Shevchenko is dubbed 'Abramovich's Pet' and that he
made a mistake in moving to Stamford Bridge.
The Cameroon striker, who is currently out injured, said: "I have
many friends at Chelsea and we often speak. He is perceived as
Roman Abramovich's pet and he doesn't get clean assists to
score.
"I believe Shevchenko has made a mistake. At Milan everyone plays
football and for a forward this is crucial because you have more
scoring possibilities.
"Chelsea play more defensive football and the two strikers
struggle."
