ANDRIY SHEVCHENKO has been told: Youve made a massive mistake
signing for Chelsea.
The warning came from Kakha Kaladze, the strike aces pal and
team-mate for six seasons at AC Milan. Defender Kaladze said: It
breaks my heart to see him playing the way he does now.
Ukraine star Shev, 30 yesterday, has scored just once since his
record £31million move from Italy in the summer. Shevchenko was a
goalscoring legend at the San Siro.
Kaladze was a Blues target two seasons ago but is now thanking his
lucky stars that he stayed in Italy. He insisted Shevchenko is
already regretting his decision to move to London.
The Georgian said: We miss Shev now he has gone. But I am certain
he misses playing for AC Milan one hell of a lot more.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wanted to sign Kaladze 15 months
ago.
Kaladze said: Not going to Chelsea has prolonged my career. It
was good luck for me that I didnt join them in the summer of 2005.
Those few days changed my career and my very way of
life.
