no.

it wont.

if the spkr run on its own bat, then u can amp up the spkr and lower the mp3 vol, which will save the mp3's batt. if the spkr isnt run by batt then gd luck to u.. the mp3 will have to be pushed hard to actually make it audible...

depends...

the ones with batt are heavier, but clearer, the ones w/o batt will be lighter but much softer and a lot of distortion due to the mp3 amp chip under load.
