Walter Smith has promised to revive his interest in his January
targets in the summer.
The Rangers boss missed out on bringing a number of top targets to
Ibrox during the transfer window.
Motherwell's Scott McDonald, Hibernian midfielder Scott Brown and
Lee McCulloch of Wigan all saw moves fail to materialise.
However, Smith has given the trio hope by saying he will be back in
for them at the end of the season.
"I'm a little disappointed because I had hoped to bring in one or
two more players," Smith said in the Daily Record.
"If someone is a target at this stage of the season they would
remain a target in the summer time.
"We'll continue to monitor the players we were after just
now."
One player who did make the switch to Rangers was midfielder Kevin
Thomson, who joined in a deal worth around £2million.
Smith is delighted with Thomson and expects the former Hibs man to
make an instant impression.
He added: "He was one that I felt would start to make an
impact.
"I think he's at that stage right now where he can kick on his
career and try to make an impact and start to have presence in
matches."
