Andreas Isaksson admits he is frustrated with sitting on the
bench at Manchester City.
Isaksson has failed to force his way back into the side after an
injury setback paved the way for Nicky Weaver to impress in his
absence.
City boss Stuart Pearce has since put his faith in Weaver, which
has begun to upset Isaksson.
He told Expressen: "I feel I am better than Weaver, it's obvious
that I feel that.
"I still enjoy to train and it's going well, but I would lie if I
said it was not tough at times."
The Swedish international insists he can do no more to convince
Pearce he is good enough for the first-team.
"I have played five times with the reserves, have done well in
training and did well against United, there is no more I can
do.
"The national team is not important right now. It's here I am
giving all my energy.
"If it continues like this, I will have to consider my situation at
the end of the season."
