Everton defender Joleon Lescott is taking reports linking him
with a move to Real Madrid with a substantial pinch of salt.
Such has been the defender's impact at Goodison Park since arriving
from Wolves in the summer, he has even been linked with a shock
move to the Bernabeu with the nine-time European Cup winners.
However David Moyes is likely to resist any offers for the player
who has been tipped for an England call-up after adapting
seamlessly to Premiership life.
Now Lescott has laughed off talk of a move to Real, insisting the
only interaction he is likely to have with Los Merengues is via his
games console.
"The closest I have come to Real Madrid is on Pro Evolution," said
Lescott.
"It is flattering to be linked but I am happy here."
