Need some help. 4.01 - 4.01m33

I just bought a psp recently at courts and it's ver is 4.01

Can i just update it to 4.01m33 with the guide given here? http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=7669

And when i update it to 4.01m33 can i play iso games with it?

if urs is 300 or the new 2006 series u cant use tat guide u hav to use chickhen which i can hlp...but i charge 10 dollars=)
