some psp functions questions

I bought my psp slim for a year and there are still some questions about its functions.

1. how does the subtitle option in the video's control panel works? my psp firmware is 5.00 m33-4. i tried adding subtitle .agg format but didn't work.

2. is there a way to install more types of visual player in the music function? the newest is the water ripples.

3. why some of the psp's buttons are US style ( X is enter, O is back) some are japanese style ( X is back, O is enter). mine is jap style. Is there a way to change it?

4. do i need just a normal video cable to connect my psp to my tv screen so that i can see wat's on my psp will be shown in my tv? just like the remotejoy.

5. Is there a way to increase my psp slim speakers volume? i find that fat psp have louder speakers than slim.

Ans : yes, you change change it in the recovery menu.

5. Is there a way to increase my psp slim speakers volume? i find that fat psp have louder speakers than slim.

Ans : no, you cant increase the volume of a PSP 2000, either you use a speaker, or a headphone.

PSP 3000 have a louder volume base than the 2000s ones.

thanks for answering my questions. Because i was wondering why some of my friends PSPs is US style and i keep pressing the wrong buttons. lol
