Wad does SIA plane call when they contact Control tower?

Yes, planes about to land will contact the control tower and report their height.

Plane will reply "on final" when approaching runway and Tower will reply "clear to land". Pilot will repeat instruction and do the landing.

All planes do that anywhere the world over. Not just SIA.

All planes have a callsign (a code which identifies themselves to the tower). Not sure about SIA's callsign though.

not really only for flight wor.. Even grd vehicle running in runway/taxiway also hace callsign given to them. ATC have to cnfm all clear before giving the ‘clear’ signal to land.

Caz in NS i only response to P1 aka piority 1 as in hijack / emergency landing.. The communication bte ATC and the plane not broadcast. Only the communication btw grd and ATC is heard..

for singapore airlines, shd be Singapore 6 (for SQ006)... somethin lyk tat bah

for military flights, they have their own call signs assigned.

yup yup.. heard before when I was on paya lebar approach.. heard a callsign swordfish.. and another one was dolphin i think.. sometimes can't hear them clearly.. they always sound very muffled to me.. o.0
