I currently have a Single-Engine Land private pilot
certificate.
Hmm.... I can't really tell you if -100 fpm is a safe sink rate at
touchdown, since my eyes are usually not on the vertical speed indicator at
that point. I'll usually be looking outside for a proper horizon
reference during the landing flare.
