I think you have to be more specific with this one. 
And I'm sure you know the answer. Most atheists I know who actually
care enough about atheism to talk about it have better bible
knowledge than most christians. It's often said that there are 2
books that christians never read - the Bible and Darwin's Origin of
Species.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the
fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and
over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Gen
1:26
"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a
living soul." Gen 2:7
Or perhaps you are asking why would a perfect god feel create the
universe if he was already perfect in himself?
