Christian Global praying day

i read on straits time christian are holding mass praying in national stadium.

As i say before, praying does not produce real workdone. work done comes from planning and putting your hands at work and brain of course on real things.

Moreover, going to national stadium means taking transportation which will use up limited resources of the earth.

Come on. By that logic, that means talking to your family when you have free time is being inefficient. You're not exactly doing any real work, are you? The same thing goes for waiting for transport, reading works of fiction and even typing this post.

As for going to the National Stadium, transportation is being taken everyday by billions of people. They all are using the limited resources of the Earth, aren't they? Making such (inflammatory) topics also takes up the limited resources of the Earth; you're using your computer which uses up electricity which comes from power plants burning up fossil fuels.

That's a good point. Even though prayer doesn't work, I suppose one could argue that there is some intrinsic value to getting together and praying. If that's how people want to spend their time, there's nothing wrong with that.

WHat if praying resulted in an inspiration from god that teach you how to plan and do things in a better way?

And going to the national stadium produces spin offs for the local economy. Nearby restaurants gain when participants of the event dine at their premises.
