will singaporean be atheists?

january SG

changing one's religious belief to atheism is a slow process and difficult.
religions have remained in the world for many many centuries.

some atheists have started to see the importance of spreading this concept and i think i will do so too, at least by setting this forum.

so to all singaporean atheist. i hope this is a good hangout for you all

Ito_^ SG

can put atheism de a to A? Laughing

An Eternal Now SG

Wow I knew this forum would come some day sooner or later Laughing

Laughing

I rather remain agnostic for now

january SG

then i guess u are also agnostic with regards to the existence of unicorn, spongebob and fairy.

Ito_^ SG

SPONGEBOB IS REAL OK! Mad

AndrewPKYap SG

Not the same. Belief in "unicorn, spongebob and fairy" never did anybody any good, otherwise you will have a religion that worship them.

Ito_^ SG

celtic pagans lor. or something lidat. Laughing

AndrewPKYap SG

you sure they believe in "unicorn, spongebob and fairy"? Do they have a website? I would certainly take a look! Laughing

january SG

Wrong. kids love all the cartoon characters and mytical animals when they visit disneyland. they are so happy and when they are happy, their parents are happy also.

is religion really that good anyway? many things give people the feel good factors in life, not only religion. i also feel so very happy and excited whenever i see a chiobu on taiwan show...

Ito_^ SG

either one of those three la.

unless u toking about a pagan kid.. Laughing

elindra SG

I thought celtics worshipped mother nature or something like that Laughing

Anyway Unicorns and such are present in mythologies besides fairy tales

And it's not fair to lump spongebob with them coz spongebob is a cartoon charc

If spongebob is a religion, where are the barney worshippers and the furby worshippers

Gackt247 SG

Ardent worshipper of Bacchus n Dionysius. Twisted Evil

AndrewPKYap SG

Makes sense.

What I want to know is not "will singaporean be atheists?" but will the MOds here behave like in the religious forums and lock threads with questions they cannot answer? Laughing

january SG

if it is out of point, then i have to lock it i guess

AndrewPKYap SG

So it is not will the Mods but will "The MOD". So what sort of super powers does "The MOD" have?

AndrewPKYap SG

Laughing sorry forgot to add to hint that it was a joke, not to be taken seriously.

If this is an Atheism forums, will there be discussions on the failings of religions or only about the benefits of Atheism?
