The Gunners were looking good bets for all major trophies for
long into the campaign but then the wheels came spectacularly
unhinged and it ultimately became a bitterlyy disappointing
campaign both domesitcaly and in Europe.
“We know we have to do something because this season has been
really strange for us,” said Toure.
“We started it really well but we had some bad luck at the end of
the season. We did not have the same desire and focus at the end
and that’s what we have to change next season.”
Reports that Toure, 27, had become unhappy at the Emirates have
lost steam since the end of the season, however, so it is looking
more than likely that he will still be energetically marshalling
the Gunners defense come next season
