EPL: Portsmouth v Arsenal

yes everyone is agreeing that we drop adebayor, the drop-adebayor-start-bendtner club is gaining in membership Mr. Green

Cmon, dropping adebayor is like..he has contributed so much..i know he was horrendous in rpevious games but isnt that too cruel to drop him? what if rvp was like that? I dont think many of you would want him dropped. give this bloke sometime. Ade just needs a supporting striker. maybe play ade and bendter together?

BrUtUs SG

yes he has contributed alot but then to help him improve he should get a rest... ade n bendtner wun b as effective... tink time to let eduardo get his chance...

I dont know if u guys noticed it, Bendtner actually created more in the 10 minutes or so he was on the pitch than Adebayor did in the full 90 minutes during the previous match. Yes he may be the team's top scorer, but just count the number of chances he spurned by his inaccurate shooting, poor first touch, and terrible positioning for the past few previous matches. IMO he doesnt even deserve to be in the starting line up. He is seriously not good enough for Arsenal.
After watching Porthsmouth - Arsenal i can conclude that
With Ade result was 0 : 0
without Ade result would be at least 3: 0 to Arsenal

we r not stating ade should be drop permanently.

but rite now he should take a short break n rest as he may be too tired n off-form. bendner deserve more chance than him.

felirox SG

what abt fabregas sloppy passes, and eboue who rarely pass to sagna when he overlaps and got a chance to cross the bal in? everybody deserves a 2nd chance. Cmon as an arsenal fan..u can say he's shite and all but insisting him to get dropped is absurd. Its not that he's as terrible as the myanmar strikers or malaysia strikers or laze arnd doing ntg.

felirox SG

yeah but some of you typed it as if to drop him permanently

if wenger still refuse to start bendtner soon, i tink he will get fed up and leave the club

Like Bentley (Dunno hw to spell), he is a regular started for ... em i forgot who liao

zocoss SG

He was indeed injured but not seriously... He had a loss of form. In Early Feb, he was blamed for Arsenal's 3-2 home loss to West Ham... he was even substituted at half-time. He even left the stadium, not staying to watch the second half.

He resumed training with his team-mates on 6 February but didn't get a match until 13 April. All these time he was available but NOT selected.

actually my suggestion is just drop adebayor for the time being and play bendtner bcos he seems to be in form. Selecting in form players and dropping off form players sounds pretty natural to me dun u think? Adebayor will still get his chance when he shows that he is in form while being a substitute…After all depriving an in form bendtner is just unfair to him, and dropping adebayor will allow him to reflect on his mistakes more…just a practical suggestion, i dun hate adebayor just think he isnt performing up to standard
