felirox SG Arsenal are awaiting news on the fitness of Robin van Persie after the Dutch star damaged his knee on international duty. Van Persie started HollandÂ’s 2-0 win over Slovenia on Wednesday, but left the field on the hour. He was in obvious pain, having appeared to twist his knee when attempting to convert a chance, and he will be sent for scans on Thursday. The Gunners face Bolton at The Emirates on Saturday and there is a doubt as to whether Van Persie will be able to play a part. Oh man..bad news...
corebooster SG van van!!!... hope he have a part to play on saturday matchup. if not. im still comfortable with eduardo n adebayor. theo as a backup.
felirox SG but chance for eduardo to shine and show us he's a goalscorer not only for zagreb and croatia but also for Arsenal!
798 SG even RVP is absense, we have no problem facing pool i must say becos our midfielders r better than them. but i believe if RVP is in the squad versus manu, our players will be extra motivated in beating them.
798 SG yeah, i'm mod for YNWA. even though i'm gunner modding in pool forum, we share a common hatred for particular team.
corebooster SG it will be a tactical headache if eduardo performs. lol. eduardo adebayor n van persie.
798 SG we could field Nicklas Bendtner too since he is eager wanting to prove his worth at starting line-up.
akinos SG In my heart(ESPECIALLY IN MINE) and others, and i think Wenger’s one as well. RVP is now a first-team player regardless of whether he is injured or other pple are performing. i hope RVP comes back in time for the Liverfools and ManUre game, we need him!!
akinos SG Van Persie could be sidelined for a month Arsenal could be without leading scorer Robin van Persie for a month after the Holland striker suffered a knee injury on international duty night. Van Persie - who has scored five goals in his last four appearance for the Gunners - could miss the Champions League game with Slavia Prague as well as Barclays Premier League games at Liverpool and at home to Manchester United. 'It looks like a knee injury,' manager Arsene Wenger told Arsenal TV Online. 'We will know later today how bad it is, but the early signs are that he will not be able to perform for us in the next four weeks. 'It is a big blow. Robin is a striker, a supportive striker and important on set-pieces as well. 'I hope he will be back soon and we'll do the maximum to get him back.' Swiss defender Philippe Senderos (back) is also set to be out for a fortnight but at least captain William Gallas, Jens Lehmann and Tomas Rosicky should all return to contention for Saturday's game against Bolton following their recent injury problems. wa lao eh!!! sad la~~ my fav player injured for a month. haizzzzz i wan cry le.. 11 sobbing faces bcoz he is no. 11
