Very few of Arsène Wengers opinions are risible but when asked for
his surprise package of this years Champions League, the
Frenchman feared his choice might raise a smile.
Apart from Wednesdays opponents Sevilla, the Arsenal manager
reckons that the current Serie A leaders might go well despite a
poor showing last term which included a famous 7-1 drubbing at Old
Trafford.
You will laugh when I say this but it could be Roma, said Wenger.
They were very disappointing against Manchester United last year
but they were very, very surprising against Lyon. It was the first
year they were in the competition and have learned a lot. They have
basic technical quality to do well.
