Arsenal boss Thierry Henry would love to be reunited with Thierry
Henry.
The former Gunners skipper was sold to Barcelona for £16million in
the summer, yet Wenger is hoping their paths cross again during
this seasons UEFA Champions League.
Winning the Champions League is something I want to add to
Arsenals history, said Wenger. We have the potential to do well.
I would not have signed a new contract if I didnt feel we had the
potential to win the Champions League.
I built this team and it is a very good team - I have great
confidence and belief in them. Last year was a big disappointment
and I dont want that to happen again, but I feel we can go very
close.
My feeling has always been that we can win the Champions League
and this season is no different. We reached the final two seasons
ago without losing a game with this squad, minus Thierry Henry. Now
everyone here is more mature.
I hope we can meet Thierry and Barcelona in the semi-final but
first I am concentrating on the group stages.
