The West Bromwich Albion defender is eager to leave the
Hawthorns this season following their failure to land promotion
last season, and he has already seen two transfer requests
rejected.
Although the Baggies insist he is staying with the Championship
club, they know they are in no position to reject offers in the
region of £8million, which is what Arsene Wenger is willing to
pay.
Davies has been chased by Tottenham Hotspur for over a year now, so
if Wenger can steal ahead of the White Hart Lane club for his
signature, it would be seen as a huge scoop for the
Gunners.
