B93 starlet Mathias Jorgensen has rejected a move to the
Premiership to sign for FC Copenhagen.
The 17-year-old had caught the eye of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger
[pictured] as well as connections at Tottenham but turned down a
move to the Premiership.
Jorgensen instead opted for a three-year contract with the Danish
side much to the delight of connections at the club.
FCK director Carsten V. Jensen told the club's official website:
"We know that several Premier League clubs were chasing Mathias,
and therefore, we are happy that he chose to continue his career
with us.
"We see a big potential in him and we are certain that he will
continue his progress with FC Copenhagen."
