Middlesbrough have sealed the signing of Arsenal striker
Jeremie Aliadiere, skysports.com understands. The French forward
has returned from his summer break and penned a three-year deal at
The Riverside, with an option to extend.
Aliadiere has undergone and passed all his medical tests and has
signed for three years, and becomes the first player to put
pen-to-paper for Boro boss Gareth Southgate this pre-season.
Boro agreed Aliadiere's deal earlier in the summer, but they will
be pleased to have finalised the deal. They have also already
agreed personal terms with Turkish international Tuncay Sanli and
they will hope to tie up his move in the coming weeks.
The Teessiders will then turn their attention to bolstering their
right-sided options, with both a full-back and wide-man high on
Southgate's list of priorities.
