A level onll cost $387 last yr more ex for private candidate?

I'm one.
I'm still planning out my study plan.
The only thing I'm not so happy about retaking is the hefty exam fees (about S$500).

In the meantime, keeping all options open.

How many subjects are you taking?

3 A levels and 1 AO level subjects.
Each paper around 100+ that's why.
Still have a 5% GST charge on them too if you do check the rates on the website.

If you didn't fail A levels, retaking as school candidate is out of the question. You can retake as private candidate.
What are your grades like?

Very sian in a way..have to dig out all the old notes..lucky I still keep..
I now thinking if shd apply for poly also..I think I know what course I want to take..but I kinda scared cos 3 years. Thinking about TP's art/design school..

Oh..its ok even if it dies, just hoping that if it happens that there is someone out there with my situation I can tell him/her that they are not alone. What are ratings, seriously? It's not great to be boasting abt stupid results u know.
Ya thinking that even 1 yr spent in poly cd be useful, but not sure if parents want send me there..they want me 100% sure its not a wrong choice..

Whining isn't constructive. The other topics have a mix of people with different situations. Here at least I tried to narrow down.
The bandwidth isn't an issue. Is there even a policy on it? If not, there wdn't be a forum creation option.
From now please avoid deviation from main subject, cos we're supp to talk abt retaking and other related stuff.

This forum is here to stay for as long as you wish and permits. Don worry because of some smart Alec down here.

Good luck about retaking, might be a little bit hard due to the new syllabus but press on no matter what is your choice. =)

Like I've said those topics are not specific. Even people getting BCC D7 can go whine there if they want do law.

Btw, ontopic..now pple say take nov paper better..

p.s: please don't make this an jc exclusive forum...do talk about other levels like o levels and n levels as well..better still talk about poly student and ite student results oso....but don't just talk about A levels okie?

Sure, actually this forum is meant as an exam support ground, can be open to more other discussions. But it also depends on demand and the time of the year...yup. I have revised the guidelines, thanks for the feedback!

On advice from other people, think I going for Nov paper bah...more time to prepare and is easier than June paper (I hope).
