Around one week ago, i saw a rather large sized golden retriever
strolling around the area outside seletar camp, while waiting for
bus at the bustop. Apparently the owner was nowhere to be seen, and
after some time a lady eventually escorted the dog into the camp,
assumably to look for someone to take care of it and report loss
rather than allowing it to roam aimlessly along the roads which
could be quite dangerous.
Few days later, i found out that my neighbours, a group of
malaysian girls who rented a flat at my block at Fernvale,
apparently brought the dog back to their apartment to take
care of it. According to what i've heard, they have reported the
case to police and they are waiting for the owner or people who are
willing to adopt the dog to approach them, while taking care of
it.
Is that the right way to handle such a case? Just curious and
like to hear your views.
